Dr. Mokal is most respected Cranio-Facial, Cosmetic & Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon. He has been practicing in Mumbai over past 21 years. Over the past Dr Mokal has performed many reconstructive and cosmetic surgery procedures in both private and public sector hospitals. His services benefitted so many poor patients in public hospitals he attached as Honorary Plastic Surgeon.

Dr. Mokal’s surgical career started at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College ,Sion ,after M.B.B.S. standing as First registration in Gen Surgery training. He completed his rigorous Gen Surgery and Plastic Surgery training with flying colors. He continued his service at sion hospital in capacity of Lecturer and Associate Professor in plastic surgery. During this period his passion for Cranio- Maxillo – Facial Surgery motivated him to do Fellowships at National University Of Singapore and Chang Gung University at Taiwan. Later on he joined B.J.Wadia Hospital For Children and Sir J.J.Group of Hospital as Honorary Associate Professor . He is also attached to Bombay Hospital & Medical Research Centre & Shushrusha Citizens Co-operative Hospital. Dr. Mokal an expert in Cranio- Maxillo -Facial surgery which is the foundation of aesthetic facial plastic surgery . He is the project director of Smile Train project at Shushrusha Citizens Co Op Hospital for treating Cleft lip and Palate surgeries free of cost and performed 1000 cases over last four year.

His technique of correction of cleft lip nose deformity is accepted in Indian Journal of Plastic Surgery. He also invented his technique of Release of Oral Sub -mucus Fibrosis which is published in British Journal of Plastic Surgery which is useful for Indian population who has habit of Ghutaka chewing. He has 16 international and national publications on different topics.

Dr. Mokal is Hon Associate Professor & Post graduate teacher in Plastic Surgery at Grant Medical College under Maharastra University Of Heath Sciences. He has trained many younger plastic surgeons who are holding commanding positions. He is frequently invited as speaker & Faculty at National & International meetings and Operative workshops. He was organizing chairman of International Aesthetic Surgery Tutorials conducted for five consecutive years and trained many plastic surgeons who wants to pursue with cosmetic surgery practice. He is also a member & teaching faculty of AO International who conducts Principle and advanced courses in Cranio- Maxillo -Facial fixation. He is an Executive Council Member of Association Of Plastic Surgeons Of India and Past Executive Council &Founder Member of Indian Society for Cleft Lip, Palate & Craniofacial Anomalies.
